What happens if 2 different breeds of duck have ducking will there be anything wrong with there babies, such as the the duckings wont be fertile to have babys??

if a musckovie breeds another duck you get a mule duck (sterile)...not sure about any others...most domesticated ducks came from mallards and will easily breed and have fertile offspring

Only if you have Muscovy Crosses. I have :
Magpie x Mallard
Cayuga x Mallard
Buff x Mallard
Magpie x runners
and a swede cross. Nothingn at all wrong with cross breeding - as long as it is not between a muscovy and mallard derived duck.

Cross breednig is how some of the varieties we have today has come about- But that is all careful selective breeding over many generations.

It isnt bad to cross breed, But as mentioned- muscovy crosses will be infertile. And it may be a little harder to find sell of any offspring which are not pure bred. If you are just wanting some different variety in your yard, having a few different breeds is not a problem. Cross breeding can produce some vary beautiful coloured offspring.

I have two crosses now. My drake, Puddles, is a Khaki Campbell/Rouen cross and his first offspring is out of one of my Blue Swedish hens. I just took an egg one day and put it in the incubator not expecting it to be fertile. (Thought he was too young still.)
Skittles looks every inch a Swede like mama.

This spring im going to a farm to pick out a nice big male muscovy,im then going to cross him with my pekin to make a meat duck(great foraging skills and leaner meat of a muscovy but with the fast growth of a pekin)Im hoping it will be decent cross.
