Are ducks affected by Apple snails?

Just found out our neighborhood is having an apple snail problem in our ditches. I know the eggs are poisonous to people but what about ducks?

I do not know anything about ducks, but according to a small amount of research, ducks do eat apple snails. They are used in rice paddies to control apple snail populations. However, if the snails have parasites, it will kill the ducks.
