Are easter eggers good layers?

I have both EE and RIR and they lay about the same for me, I know from a couple of my EE's I get at least 5 eggs each from them a week.
They are med. to large eggs. Out of 12 hens I sell about 5-6 dz. eggs a week.
Hope this helps.

Ours also average 5 eggs per week, even through Winter. They're currently 11 mo old, so this will be the first Spring that they're old enough to lay. Will be interesting to see if they lay even better as most breeds in Spring/Summer.

I have a 2nd group that are just now 21 weeks old, not quite old enough to be producing yet.

I have 4 EEs, along with 15 other various breeds, and I get 2 -4 blue, olive and green eggs every day. They are 3 years old. I have 50 new chicks coming in May, and there will be EEs in that mix.

I get a dozen eggs a day, usually. Not less than 10. I have 7/14 EE layers. The others are sexlinks, RIR and banty cochins. None of these have been slackers as far as I'm concerned. I have just over 100 eggs sitting here with no cartons left. Time to pickle another batch.
