Are hens like a barometer?

Yesterday we got 10 eggs and we got 5 inches of snow this morning and I went to collect this afternoon and got 2. Then a month ago before we got a two week snowy period we got 7 the day before it started. Thats alot for me because they are laying horribly right now.

I don't know but we went through a hurricane once and our cat had her kittens early and I know of a lot of other peoples animals and even some people who went into labor right around the same time. Maybe it is a pressure thing!
