Are Her Eggs Safe to Eat?

I believe I have a hen with Bumblefoot. Are her eggs safe to eat. I'll be posting as soon as I get some pictures to verify my diagnosis.

I would say they are fine.

I had a hen that had bumblefoot, and this had crossed my mind as well. I came to the conclusion that if it is bumblefoot this is a form of staph infection, and I really didn't want to take the chance. I am sure someone more qualified will be able to answer more correctly, but I just didn't think it was worth the risk.
