Are Mountain Quail Rare/Special?

thats actually a decent price for mountains. the mountain, california, mearns, harlequin and gambels quails all vary in pricing but mountains are definately pricey. if you want real sticker shock keep an eye on eggbid for prarie chickens!!! they are insane!!!

So wait, I can buy these eggs for $70 and even if they hatch I will still have a hard time keeping them alive, LOL, I'll just stick with my Buttons thank you very much.

Mearns, I have only ever seen 2 eggs for sale ever on eggbid never any were else, however they didn't sell.... so I wouldn't think you will find any at this present time, most breeders are keeping and hatching what they get..

I did manage to get a pair of mearns but very costly, but i got them none the less..

Still watching for mearns quail eggs to pop up myself from others, but i don't think I'm gonna see any this year anywhere. other than from my own pair.

Hoping to also get a pair of Benson/elegant quail this year from a breeder who promised me a pair.. hoping
