So I'm a bit of a worrier and reading everything on the internet and not actually getting any answers, im new to keeping chickens and could do with some friendly advice... so i have 4 chickens 2 are fine and 2 are acting not so normal..

Ferrari: Think shes broody shes always fluffed up and clucking when shes out the coop... i have to force her out tho beause she would just sit in the nesting box on eggs and shes very aggressive too.

Porsche: Now this is where im most worried she was a bit lethargic for a while staying in her coop, she was on loads of eggs too, shes out now but her crop is very pale, i noticed today that there was this orangey slim in the coop and on her bum too, its quite a bright orange because i had some on my hand from getting the eggs out....??

also some of there eggs are wrinkly....

they are all eating and drinking and look well apart from this.
thanks
xx

Welcome to BYC.
Ferrari: If you want to break her broodiness, isolate her in a cage away from the others and provide her food and water. Keep her isolated for as long as it takes to break her. I had one hen caged for 10 days before she finally broke.
Porshe: Lethargic...She may have been eggbound or broke an egg inside her, or perhaps she broke an egg in the nest. Wrinkly eggs can be a sign of Infectious Bronchitis (IB.) If there are watery whites when an egg is cracked open, that is a telltale sign of IB.

yeah i was wondering that she could maybe be egg bound, iv just check one of my wrinkly eggs and they dont seem any watery than the other ones, there not really showing syptoms of IB.. if they were to get an infection like this tho is it easy to get rid of or is that it... also will my eggs be ok to eat when they are wrinkly beacuse i tend to give them away to people...?? thanks for your help x

Please post on the "emergencies, diseases, injuries, cures thread." Her problems are beyond the scope of my knowledge.
