Are my chickens stressed, angry, irritated?

Hello, recently I have been curious about sounds that chickens make. It has been a bit hectic since they haven't layed much eggs like they used to. We got some new hens about a month ago but even before they came, my hens still lay few eggs. Anyways, I have been hearing these sounds that I hear every day. It makes my think that they are stressed or not in a good mood. I gets me worried thinking that they are not satisfied or that something is missing. I found a video on YouTube with a sound that is similar, but with greater emphasis to the one I hear all the time. I wanted to upload a recording but wasn't able to so I provided a YouTube video. The sound that I hear is in the very beginning of the video. That sound starts at 0:00 - 0:10. Does anybody know what this sound means? :

I have two hens that make that sound when they want something... like for the gate to be opened so they can come out. We just call it whining.
I try not to give them what they want while they're making the noise so they don't get the idea to do it more. As soon as they hush for a minute or so we usually go ahead.

So, it is like a whining sound? Because my hens make that sound but with MORE emphasis? Like if they are angry.

That is a very familiar song that I’ve come to know as “get ur fluffy butt outta that box, I don’t care how many other boxes are empty…my egg is gonna be laid in THAT ONE🐔. Period.”

Really? Cause they make this sound not only when they need to lay an egg but when it is time to sleep they make this sound in a high-pitched sharper vocalization.
