Are my chicks older than I thought?

I was 'assuming' when I got my chicks that they were about a week old. In the pictures below, that would have made them 3 weeks old (last weekend). I had seen some pictures earlier (on this site) when I first got them and judged them on their age based on that. However, after seeing numerous pictures of other chicks lately, I'm beginning to wonder if mine aren't older than I thought. Anybody have any better estimate? As of today (roughly 4wks old) they are almost completely feathered out except for their heads which are starting to grow featheres (some quicker than others). I plan to take more pictures this weekend of their progress.

This guy's comb is all red now:

Here you can compare its overall size to my (average sized) hand:

Nah, they look right on track for being 3 weeks old in the photo

Cute babies, too!

Mine will be 4 weeks on Monday and they look about the same as yours. My girls might even be more feathered than these. They sure are cute!

Mine started head feathers at 4 weeks also. At 6 weeks, they're getting the last of the body feathers (under the wings) and look more like hens than chicks.
