Are my ducklings overweight?

My 3 week old ducklings have trembling legs. I have asked this on the forum before and I was replied that they lack Niacin. Before I try to fix that though, I would also like to see whether or not they might be overweight. What is the recommended weight for a 3 week old Pekin duck and Khaki Campbell? Thanks

Not sure why you would be waiting on the niacin, better sooner rather than later. As to recommended body mass....there really isn't a good answer. Growth curves are affected by a lot of variables feed, both protein content and ME: temperature; hours of light; amount of exercise; and not to mention genetic strain. All theses variables would probably produce a mean +/- 30%.

Do the niacin ASAP. I really wouldn't worry about weight until they are older, they are growing so quickly you really do not want to ration them.

as for weight, at that age i definitely wouldn't concern myself with it, Pekin grow out rather quickly.. and need the nutrients to support this.
