Are my eggs cooked or do they still stand a chance? I am having a difficult time reading temp/hygrom

I feel like a total idiot!!! I put eggs in the incubator on 6/30...yes this is my first time. I thought that the thermometer that came with the bator was reading at 99.5 and consistently staying there as I locked and loaded everything a week before getting the eggs and it was maintaing. THEN I got a digital thermometer/hygrometer and it said that it was 94 NOT 99.5 WTH??? When the digital one says 99 it looks to me like the other one is over 100. What should I do? The thermometer that came with the incuabtor said it has an accuracte reading of +/- 2. The digital one says +/- 1. I got the digital one from eggcartons.com knowing I needed a hygrometer and for some reason not a single feed store or Home Depot in my area carried one so I had to order it and did not receive it until the eggs were already in the bator for 3 days, there is no name on it just says LT-2. Also, what is the humidity supposed to be kept between? I have heard such conflicting things? Please help me. Oh yeah and if it makes a difference on what kind of incubator I am using, it is a Fall Harvest Circulating air Incubator.

I'm a newbie to the chicken world too and the world of incubating. I have 3 incubators going right now! And This is my 1st time! Brave or stupid? Don't answer that. lol. When I got my LG incubator with circulated air it came with the regular mercury thermometer & also a digital thermometer/hygrometer. I personally never trust the mercury thermometer. It has read 99.5 F constantly. My digital one stays between 99.9F & 100.4F. These kinds of incubators are awful when it comes to consistant temp control. I don't mess with the temp bc that's as close as it's gonna get for me. My second LG still air didn't come with a digital thermometer/hygrometer. There's no fan so the temp has to be a tad higher (so I've read). Mine does a balance between 100.7F & 101. 5F. I don't mess with that one either. I put the mercury thermometer in with the digital to see how far off the thermometer is. Right now, I use that as my judge of temp. I have another digital thermometer/hygrometer on the way for that incubator (will be here tomorrow). My 3rd is a Genesis Havo-Bator that is pre-set to 100.0F. I have no trouble with that one what-so-ever. The temp only fluctuates about a tenth to two tenths of a degree. I have auto-turners in all three and I try to keep the humidityat 45-50% (50% most of the time). I've tried to research as much as I could. There is so much useful info on this site. It has a spot on my desktop bc I use it everyday. Maybe someone that is more experience can give you their helpful hints. I'd love to hear them too.

I have had the same problem with puting 2 thermometers in my still air bator when i first started incubating.
I have the same LT-2 thermometer,i put it on top of the eggs,and also got a Oreab weather station home reader in my bator,an it tellls a different reading to. Long story /short.the close to the heating element the hoter they will read.but you know this.
my did this before i found a auto turner to use,so my son opened the bator to turn the eggs for the noon turn, but didnt put the lid back tight

,so it lost heat for 6hours , when t went to turn them that night, the reading was 92,but all but 1 egg hatched.
I would trust the one that you have closer to the eggs.an go with that one
