Mine like apples, but aren't crazy about them, which kind of surprised me. They LOVE pumpkin. I need to go to the grocery store....

My chickens are busy walking around all day. They rarely stay in one area for long.
I'd suggest that you get 5 or 6 kitty litter boxes, fill them with clean potting soil or sand. In one of the clean soil boxes, add some live bugs, such as fish bait(crickets or worms). Leave one box just pure, clean soil, for the birds to dirt bathe in they love this excercise!
Keep changing the treats in the boxes, so your chickens have something to look for every day.
