Are onions safe for hens? I didn't see them on either chart...

A lot of our leftovers contain onions-I know they are bad for dogs, I don't know about chickens so I wanted to ask before feeding just to be safe-thx.

I won't give raw onions to them. It may give the eggs an "off" taste.

but if you feed too many the eggs can take on a funny taste..
