I wouldn't put a dog in a shopping cart (why?) but people take service dogs into grocery stores because they need them.

Having said that, non-service dogs (just pets) are allowed in a lot of places here. Costco, Home Depot, Tractor Supply, Ace Hardware, coffee shops, bookstores, grocery stores, fabric/craft stores, bars, restaurants.

Keep in mind that for most of the year here it's too hot to leave a dog in the car and too hot to walk them outdoors. People bring dogs with them into stores and walk them in air-conditioned malls.

As long as the dog is leashed and well-behaved, I don't mind.
Mine take a leash as a challenge, lol. They listen better off leash unless there's a squirrel involved . . . . all bets are off.

Petless people what do you even take pictures of? Food? Plants?

90% of my camera roll is pets and half of my jewelry is memorial jewelry for my pets (not their ashes or anything, just their names or symbols)
Are you KIDDING? Sunsets, computers, plants, food, people, cities, skies, EVERYTHING.

No pets needed:

Costco allows pets?

You must be in a pet-friendly area

Might not be an exaggeration to say that about half the pictures I've taken since past spring are pictures of eggs

....

Do I have a problem?
(But seriously, I take pictures so I don't forget to chart what eggs I get every day. Helps with learning who is laying)

I've never been -huge- on taking pictures, though. Just things I need to document, or when something funny or cute happens

I don't know if it's official policy at Costco or they just look the other way. I've never taken a dog there but I've seen dogs in there many times.

The weather here necessitates bringing dogs indoors. I think that led to a lot of dog-friendly businesses.

So me. My pictures are like 80% Chase, 19% chickens, and the rest is other stuff
