Same! I agree, it's a great socialization tool, for sure. I remember calling around to see how many places we could bring our dog to, but there were definitely times I had to wait in the car with her (understandably).
Yeah, this definitely wasn't a service dog. Like you said, there's so many businesses where it's fine to bring your dog in to socialize. I have to draw the line at a grocery store unless someone REALLY needs it to function. In which case, employees shouldn't be petting it and then stocking produce.
