If you've got an Android there's a fair chance double-clicking the power button will summon the camera, and the volume buttons will take the photo once the camera has been opened.
The phone ringing freaks the roosters out  I leave it inside.

I also have friends that think it's funny to start crowing when they know I'm in the yard and they're on speaker. . . .( 💡 moment) which might be why the roosters freak when the phone rings 🤔

Speaking of animals (dogs) and germs reminds me of this family story. I had a relative who had a, um, "friend," who made it a point of showing up right around dinner time and then "didn't mind" staying for dinner. The relative got tired of it so one night after dinner he put the plates on the floor and let the dog lick them clean, then casually stacked them in the cupboard. The friend stopped coming over after that, at least at meal times. (The dishes ended up in the dishwasher later, of course!)

Everybody wins, except the "friend", I guess.

Put the phone on vibrate when you're with the chickens?

People without pets for many reasons....

I do find it is a bit strange that people don't like pets....and I do know a few of people like that....they are a bit cold...

How can one does not like that cute chicken face, silky feather, and those nice breakfast they pooop

You wouldn't want to eat at our house. The dogs clean up the spills and splatters in the kitchen. They also get tidbits while I'm cooking, and my hand occasionally gets licked in the process. My son made a comment about it once or twice . . my response was . . ."When was the last time you had a stomach ache?" He shrugged and couldn't recall having one . . . "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger"

I got sick more often when I didn't have dogs tracking mud/pollen/dander through the house. I also didn't go outside much when I didn't have dogs, because I didn't need to . . now I do and I'm healthier for it.
Yes you are! This is one of many articles (including scholarly ones).

I've probably eaten more pug hairs than I care to think about, so you won't get any complaints from me! 😅 I agree about being healthier and more active with pets. It's one of the things I miss most. 🥺
