Hi Was wondering if the plymouth rocks go broody at all
I have a trio of them and was hoping maybe one of the hens may go broody if I leave the eggs in the nest box
Thanks

Of my six BRs I have one that will sit on all the eggs she can get everyday. Interestingly the other five BRs, plus my three reds don't sit on the eggs at all. I just shoo her away and collect them! She doesn't mind a bit.

However, I suppose if I let her "brood" on them more than a day or two she might behave differently. It wouldn't matter as I don't have a rooster though!
