Are seaguls a threat?

Are you sure with your words "Never ever open your car window in McDonald Parkings" ???

Unless you are close to a zoo where tame seagulls will steal your meals, the wild seagulls are too wary and prefterred to keep their distance away from humen...Had you tried approaching the seagulls ??? but bah! they don't let you approach less than 5 miles.

In my country New Zealand, the wild Red-billed gulls are tame and often approach closely toward me, as I feed the gulls, but the larger Southern Black-backed (Kelp) gulls are wary and do not allow humen to approach less than 30 yards.
Black-billed gulls (Buller's gull) are same as Red-billed gulls. I lives in New Zealand.

A sight of a huge flying juvenile bald eagle in your country, is enough to frighten all gulls away.

Too bad for gull that stole your daughter's ball in mistake for an egg. It'll get sick and be caught by a zoo keeper or be killed by a cat or dog.
Wild seagulls do eat eggs of birds, along with baby birds.
