Like these done up for wild birds.. just thinking of hanging some for the girls but wasn't sure?

Now if they are is there a specific type i should look for... thank you!

Oh yes they are fine for them to eat. I actually feed millet (the small golden balls in your pic) and Black Oil Sunflower Seeds (the black seeds in the pic) to my chickens as part of their feed mix. If those are peanuts in there in the pic those are fine too (unsalted as they would be for wild birds).

They even make a "Flock Block" for chickens to peck at.

Millet 11% protein
BOSS 16% protein

Layer feed is usually 16% protein.

Or you can make your own homemade 'flock blocks'. I just made four of them for all my various feathered fancies. : )
