are silkies delicate?

Silkies are wonderful little birds. Perfect pets for adults as well as children. For non-showing birds I give them haircuts so they can see (it makes a Whopping big difference in their personalities). They are completely comical to just sit and watch.

Oh, and I live in Northern Wisconsin - so yeah the weather can be bad. It's all about heat lamps and lots of shavings and hay to keep them warm.
