Are Silkies just slow growers- or is it me?

I hatched out a silkie in June, so he (or she) is about 20 weeks old, and my 8 week old chick is the same size as him

Are silkies just slow growers, or is it me? Or of course he (she) could be a bantam

ETA- The other chick is not a silkie, and doesn't have any silkie in it

Seeing as you are in England, I suspect that the chick is a standard and the older one a bantam

And yes, many silkies tend to be slow growers.
