Are Termite Bait Stations a hazard to my chickens?

The people next door want to put termite bait stations around the perimeter of their building. We're in a city where there is just an open space between the two buildings, and my chickens free range in that area (there's a gate at the front). Anyone know anything about whether the bait stations are a hazard to my chickens?

Thanks in advance for reading, and for help.

btw I found out the answer to my question and since no one here answered, thought I would share the information. The termite bait stations are buried up to the top (using a post-hole digger), and the top is a hard plastic thing that requires a special tool to open. So no, termite bait stations are no threat to chickens.

However, the second phase of the termite treatment is going to be digging a trench around the perimeter of the foundation and pouring in a whole bunch of liquid with poison (Termidor/fipronil) in it, then mixing the removed soil with more poison and putting it back into the trench. That would disturb the ground and the chickens would definitely scratch in that for days, and thus would be exposed to the poison. So I'll be excluding my chickens from free-ranging in that area for the foreseeable future, despite the inconvenience to how we use our property.
