2 year old hen never molted, lays soft shells

Well, our situation got a little more complicated as we noticed that there was another hen laying soft eggs. The other hen had been through tough times and a very hard molt in the winter that caused her to lose hydration and bleed until we brought her inside to recover for a few days.

We eventually were able to give calcium pills (crushed into powder and mixed with a cut up boiled egg) to both of them for about a week about a month ago. Since then, the soft shells have mostly stopped. PC (the second mentioned hen) seems to lay double yolk eggs but is otherwise very healthy and strong-willed (she's one of the very few that can refuse roosters and will even chase after them). BC seems to have paused producing eggs and I saw some "tubes" forming on her rear, so she might be finally triggering her molting. She's not as good at fending off roosters (surprisingly, as we once had to discipline her for picking on PC with whom she's friends now) so has a bit of wear and tear. There are six roosters (all sons of Arthur), which has been stressful to hens especially while the roosters have been maturing. To rectify that we've increased our hen count to 44, but about half are not yet mature.

With that said, I did find a soft egg in a nest box this morning, don't know from whom.
