Is the american satin a rare breed of guinea pig?

The American Satin is in fact just another variety of guinea pig, no they are not rare you just have to be prepared to look and browse around on the internet and in magazines. Of you are intersted in guinea pigs I suggest getting a book by Peter Gurney.
