Are the baby chicks suppose to sleep like this?

This got me really upset :rant . BEFORE purchasing a LIVING ANIMAL please EDUCATE yourself before you go and pick them up :he . And have everything setup BEFORE they come!!
The weird thing is, I did most of my research on lizards care and dogs care but not this kind of animal. At first I bought a rooster for fun but then I bought 1 hen but I have to butchered the rooster cause of my neighbors complaining. I know is a living animal, I'm taking care of it well, and I actually care more about animals then humans because humans aren't good enough.

chick's are a different learning curve then chickens. They need very different things. It sounds like you have everything happy and content, good luck!

This makes me very sad...for you and for those who care about you.

I'm not trolling. I really like animals in all my heart. Last year I rescued an abandoned baby American robin chick and the mother and father seem to abandoned it so I took the time I have to care it. I even researched of it, rescued baby birds foods, and do other things on it too. Not really, I like humans too but animals seem to be my passion. I also like medical things too. I'm finding a way on getting like one of those containers you suggested me. My Ameraucana is now 1 week old and my Amber White is now 2-3 weeks old. I also switched from a 250 watt bulb to a 120 watt bulb because 250 watt seemed too hot for them and even for my hands.

Update: I wanted a lizard pet at first like a bearded dragon and I done a ton of research, found trusted videos info facts, online, other trusted forums. But chickens... Seemed not so bad right? I mean the poop is kinda bad but not really if you get use to the smell like me. :p

My first chickens was when I was 12. Do you think a 12 year old would research about animals instead of playing video games?

Same for me, I have a insane obsession with animals, I love them SO much, and have such a passion for them, so I'm right there with you. Also I am happy that everything is going well for you and your chicks :)
