You can cover the cracked area with melted wax, but keep a close eye on this egg as frequently they go bad and can ruin the incubation.
Also there is an actual piece of the shell that fell off, I can't put wax there it would burn the embryo.

I wouldn’t put wax on that. You have exposed section of membrane. Are these due to hatch? Otherwise a whole piece of shell coming off prior to that would like be a bad egg anyways. If due, leave it alone, the chick is trying to hatch
