i have a 9 month old buff orpington that is supposed to be an advid layer i just got her on satruday .... so she hasn't laid anything yet I'm sure do to the stress of the move and all..... but she did have worms and a lice problem i finally just took care of and she is getting so much better no more lice and she finally disposed of some worms i saw in her poop made me happy that she is getting better and growing her feathers back from the lice and the over breeding they did to her

HERE IS MY QUESTION????
if she does start laying should i dispose of the first couple of eggs or will it be okay to eat them even tho she was sick ?

It depends on what meds you gave them. It is usually recommended after a chemical wormer to wait 3 weeks before eating the eggs. Some people eat them, anyway. Of course that could be a problem if you happened to be allergic to the worming medicine. If you used Sevin for the lice/mites, this should have no effect on the eggs.

I used garden and poultry dust and wages them in dawn and took care of it all and then the wormer I used was wazine 17 ???? Whatcha think ??
