I hate fevers.. I feel like I'm going out of my mind when I get them.. Last time I had one, I wrapped myself in a wet towel and shivered for 30 minutes and my temp actually dropped a degree. We eat eggs so frequently in this house that they're gone before I could possibly have time to enjoy the color of the egg, lol! I have to admit though...your egg carton contents certainly are pretty! I'd like to have an easter egger but since I'm limited to 6 hens total, I just can't have all the ones I'd like to have. If that were the case I'd have 32. lol!
I'm about ready to pick a different breed to replace my Golden Lakenvelder hen-dream though...because I'm striking out on that one every single time. I had the opportunity to get a 6 mo healthy rooster, but we can't have roosters here so that opportunity "flew the coop" so to speak.
I'm thinking I may go Jubilee instead.
As a side note---anyone know how to get a fever down? I'm sitting at 103.4 now (stupid thing keeps going up) and Tylenol and warm showers aren't doing anything thus far...my eyeballs feel like they're going to blow out the front of my face though!![]()
