Are there any EEs without cheek fluff?

Hi again, I just went out to the coop and took some new pictures of Rose, Tell me what you think please, EE campine or ? I Sure thought she was an EE because I ordered her as one and she looked just like the other girls. Hmmmm

She was kinda freaked out about being taken out of the coop.

like everyone says EEs are just a cross which is supposed to have a blue egg gene in the mix. Seems like most have beards and muffs because they have some Amerucana in the background. However there are plenty of other ways to get Blue egg into a chicken.


Here is a cute picture of an EE with beard and Tuft. Shes a cross with an True Araucana, which means she is still an EE to me.

I have some in every shape and color, some have the sweetest, fat round heads it makes me want to pinch their little cheeks but they'd probably peck me back!

I have 6 EE's and only my two redheads (Annie & Carol) have puffy cheeks. Take a peek at my latest EE thread in this forum and you'll see my girls. All the other 4 have no puffiness!

Here is a 12 week old EE. She doesnt have puffy cheeks or beard.

All my EE hatchlings had fluffy cheeks, but now at 6 weeks only 1 of the 8 still does.
