are there any hatcheries that give tours

Does anyone know of any hatcheries that give tours? I bet the kids would love see that!

Doubtful.Hatcheries are NPIP certified and having a lot of people in and around your chickens is very dangerous.They would be inviting in all diseases that could have them out of business in a week.We are very selective on who we allow on our property near our chickens I couldn't imagine allowing a tour.

There was a hatchery that let Dirt Jobs in with a camera crew, but I dont think hatcheries usually let people in for a tour.

Hatchery and tour cannot mix per NPIP regulations. Hatcheries are not allowed to give tours because of the disease introduction risk.

Ideal Farms had a camera crew for RFD channel and it was very informative but I am sure they had to be "scrubbed" down due to the regulations. I assumed they had to have permission from the hatchery owner or government agency like the NPIP to gain access to the sites.

Some hatcheries would give a photo link to "tour" their facilities on their websites. It would not give details but give you an idea what it is like.
