Not a lefty myself, but both my husband and daughter are. They do the same as a couple of others here, use their right hands for scissors or the computer mouse, etc. My husband said he used to bat both ways in baseball, but it was more fun to bat left because it really screwed with the pitcher.
Strangely enough, when I drive, I prefer to use my left hand when driving one handed. It doesn't feel right when I try to do it with just my right. Maybe it comes from all those years of propping my elbow on the window.
