Are there any other LEFT handers out there??

I am not a Left hander, but Yesterday I discovered that my 7 yr old son, plays Baseball left handed. Last night hubby and my son were playing ball, and well my son was not doing very well. Hubby asked him if he wanted to try with the other hand. My son who was throwing the ball an average of 5 feet, began throwing left handed, and almost took hubbys head off! He was much better at batting as well! I was quite shocked! He has been a righty all along. Hmmm....Very Interesting! Anyone else experiance this?

I'm a lefty that's a bit ambidextrous. A lefty for fine motor skill jobs, like writing, drawing, painting, but use my right for jobs that need more strength in my arm, like bowling or softball. For things like screwdrivers, soldering irons or scissors, I just use whichever hand would be most convenient.

My father was a lefty. Before I was married, I once dated a man that was a lefty. When we all went out to dinner, we joyfully told my right handed mother that she would have to sit on the end!

I thought all us southpaws were ambidextrous. Doesn't it go right along with being left handed?

I too am a lefty and proud of it. My 12 yr. old son is a lefty too. My hubby calls us wrong-handed but what does he know? When I started school back in the late 50's the teachers would try to make you use your right hand. It didn't work with me and my hand writing is so back slanted it isn't funny!!!! The only thing I can't do with my left hand is scissors. Which is so weird!!!!

I am abedextrious (sp?) I can do pretty much anything with both hands accept write only be cause I was taught to write with my right hand. I can write w/ my left but it is terrible hand writing if I racticed I might be able to make it look better.

I'm left handed. But, I eat and write Left, use scissors and play sports Right. My sister is totally left handed.

Southpaw here too.
NO hysterectomy though...can't join that club.
Can join the craft club...got a million things going on with that.
I'm the only leftie in my whole family in 4 generations. Even my fraternal twin sister isn't a leftie. My best friend is though.
I do the hard work with the right hand and have taught myself to write right handed.

Yes, I play golf righthanded, use the calculator r/h,
pull a trigger with my L/h, write L/h .
My dad was L/H he taught me to draw, he went to art school in WA with Rolf Harris!!Just in case Rolf is into chickens and sees this!!!Id like to chat to him!!!
My son is L/h and plays footy with right foot!he throws a ball with his right hand. writes with his L/H

LEFT HANDERS DO IT RIGHT!!!!!!! lol i'm a lefty to.....the only one in my entire family, have a great love for horses also ( we have 6 right now 4 are for sale) feel like the old woman in the shoe due to the amount of kitties i have....lol
