are there snow geese in southern indiana

me my papow and my uncle were rabbit hunting with our beagles and few fields over i noticed a huge flock of what looked like snow geese landing in another corn field i didnt get to see them land because there was a little pach of woods inbetween us and them.
 
Good on hunting with those beagles. Love good rabbit hounds. I can't answer for Indiana, but I am seeing large flocks of snow geese here in NJ. That is not common at all for us. I think that their population is at an all time high and they are venturing into new areas.
 
Yes on their migration up north in early march to late April and their. Fall migration to the south in early October to early November
