The one with the red comb and waddles is a roo, the other is a pullet. She is not turning bright like
him on the comb. Hatchery quality silkie hens get waddles sometimes.

??? I am trying to learn all i can about silkies. I adore them and want to add them to our home. Why does that silkie have a yellow beak? is it a cross or does that happen sometimes? They are both beautiful.

Paint breeding can cause yellow pigment break through or they are just not quality bred, but none the less still just as beautiful.
