Hi people,

I recently was given 3 youngish chukar partridges. I was told they were 1 male and 2 female. 2 clearly have hard bumps where the spur should be, one has a bumb on one leg but nothing on the other leg. Would you think these are all males?

You may need to wait until they are fully grown to sex them. Both males and females can have the spur bump when young. As they age males will be larger then the females, blockier heads. The striping on the head and neck is sometimes thicker and longer on males.

Let me tag someone that might know more about them...

You can't tell by looking for or at the spurs.... both male and female can have the 'bumps' or spurs.
Some people can tell by their physical features, as @TwoCrows , has said, ....I can not. I just wait until they lay eggs or if they don't!
