I purchased 2 white hens and a black rooster last fall. I was told the fellow was a breeder and that he showed his chickens. He said they were Ameracaunas.
The hens lay the prettiest blue eggs, and the insides are blue also.
Something killed my rooster and 1 hen the other day. I was debating on incubating the surviving hen's eggs.
I thought if Ameracaunas were rare I wanted to use the fertilized eggs to replace them. If not, I would just buy more hens.
(Sorry about duplicate photos. I am having difficulty deleting and a storm is breing
