Are these Ameraucauna? and pullets or cockerels??

Then hatcheries give you easter eggers claiming they are ameraucanas.

She didn't get them from a hatchery, she got them from a breeder, they are not easter eggers, the pictures you posted are easter eggers. At the OP, if they were supposed to be blue, then you have a black and a splash =) I love the splashes =) congrats!

What color(s) are these Ameraucanas?
They are no Ameraucana colors because this is a picture of EE chicks. What a mess.

OP, your birds indeed look to be true Ameraucanas (congrats! Beautiful breed), they are too young to gender ID.

For anyone who would like to get a very clear definition of the difference between EEs and Ameraucanas (with pictures), please visit www.ameraucana.org.

Hello everyone. I am new to the chicken business. It's crazy because I have some chickens that look like PP's "Easter eggers" but the hatchery does indeed sell them as "americaunas". It was Ideal Poultry. So do Easter eggers have puffy cheeks too because the ones I have have really puffy cheeks?

Please disregard last transmission. I have since found the answer. Thanks!

www.ameraucana.org is a wonderful site that clarifies the diferences very well. I highly recommend everyone look it over at least once. It's a very good information source :)
