I was told when I bought them 4 weeks ago as baby chicks they were and also they are suppose to be pullets. So, they are going on a month old. I have three of them. Just like to verify this. They came from an Amish family who raise them.

ba = black australorp and jg = jersey giant. GOT IT after searching! Are those two breeds hard to tell the breed when young chicks? If that is the case I have two jersey giants and one black australorp?? I'm more confused now than ever! The Amish family does not have jersey giants.
