Are these barred rocks?

Picked up "assorted straight run" chicks at TSC couple weeks ago. The guy said they were barred rocks and they looked exactly like barred rock chicks to me as well. However, they're about 2-3 weeks old now and two of the six chicks have developed brown faces which stumps me.

What do you guys think?

Looks like barred rocks. Chicks can often have feathers that aren't there when they get their adult feathers. Another option is they are black sex link roosters. Time will tell.

First looks like BR pullet, second a little more questionable. Little more white on the feathers and yellower legs, but it's for sure a BR too.

Looks.like barred rock hens to me too...i bought 6 from TSC straight run...4 roos () and 2 hens they looked like this for a while...

We have pure bred Plymouth Barred Rocks that are 2.5 weeks old. Looks like them to me.
