Tractor Supply had “Barred Rocks” marked down to $1 so I was forced to buy all 13 of them.. but that was three weeks ago and these do not all look like Barred Rocks. Can someone help me identify the ones with the vertical wing and neck striping? Originally I just thought they were the females but now I think they are another breed entirely. Thanks! I think they are probably about 5 weeks old.

They look like Silver Laced Wyandottes. What type of comb do they have? Wyandottes have rose combs whereas Barred Rocks have single combs. (I do see a couple of what looks like Barred Rocks to me in your first picture though.)

The combs definitely look different on those compared to the barred rocks. If indeed they are Silver Laced Wyandottes I will be a happy girl. When I picked up these 13 on a whim, I came home and cancelled my Silver Laced Wyandotte order that I had already placed with the hatchery. Lol. What a wonderful twist. 😊
