Are these Blue Breasted Brown Leghorns?

I have spoke to them... they did not purposefully substitute anything.

There may have been a mix up, but they can't tell me what they are.

You could just call the hatchery and ask what they sent you as replacement for the originally ordered Blue Brested Brown Leghorn.

Hoover's are almost exclusively the hatchery that supplies all the feed stores with chicks. TSC alone puts a lot of money in their pockets.
They are known for mix ups constantly. With the feed stores being their middle man and feeding the beast it doesn't seem like customer service is important to them even when it's someone buying directly from the hatchery.

Legs appear a dark green to black, bottoms of feet are yellow.

Ya that's not what those are.

I've been working on what you're referring to as "Blue Breasted Brown Leghorns" for quite a while.
Mine didn't come from a hatchery or contain any of their blood.
I've seen them pop up occasionally and lots aren't correct. Idk where they messed up their recipe. I just don't put much stock in them being correct and any stock in Hoover's getting any right.

Mine as chicks look almost identical as brown Leghorns except the two outer stripes down there backs are a lighter bluish color.
As juveniles they should still have the juvenile duckwing pattern but with blue tint.

Would you by chance be willing to share a picture of your birds? I have been intrigued by them since I got them a few years ago. It’s not until I started breeding that I found out they got alot more to them then they look. They didn’t just take a brown leghorn and a blue and you get a blue breasted brown like some people speculate. I love just what they look and seem to be though; I don’t like the hidden genes they got when it comes to breeding. I have since tweeked them to get more vibrant blue with the red and I’m really liking it.
