Are these Blue Orpingtons or Blue Andalusians?

This one I believe is an Orpington, but I can only see the head. Compare them to number 4 bird. That one is an andalusian.
I definitely think hens 1&2 are the same breed and that hens 3&4 are also the same breed. They look similar to each other in body types and temperaments. So if you think 2 is an Orpington then 1 probably is as well.

While both have fairly dark shanks/legs, the bottom of their feet should be different colors. Orpington: Pale pink Andalusian: white......Also, agree with folks about earlobe color, Andalusians have white earlobes. Beautiful birds nonetheless ! 😍
Thanks! I guess I’m going to have to try and catch them tomorrow to look at feet. I’m also amazed at how quick they are!

Your third bird looks like a splash andalusian. Orpingtons will mature slower and heavier. As adults you will see the differences more.

Thank you for the update! I just saw this and was appalled anyone would pass those off as Blue Orpingtons. Lol I was quite confident they were hatchery quality Andalusians. I’ve never seen Orpingtons so narrow before.

You’re right. Your Orpingtons are so plump and gorgeous! I was just in such a state of denial while they were still growing. I figured they couldn’t all be the same breed in a variety batch. I had too much faith in the hatchery. I’ll be getting any other chickens from a more reliable source in the future.
