My goodness that first one has super long legs!

I'm not going to guess. The first one does not have enough of a comb/wattles for me to guess male, but the legs throw me off. I just don't know.

I know that's what I was thinking. He's got me all confused. i was thinking roo for a while but his comb is not very big and he's about 8 or so weeks I think.

Thanks! I sure hope the SS is a girl s/he is very sweet (not to mention s/he has the least manly name possible) but yeah the first one is really throwing me off with those long legs. He was supposed to be a red sex-link but we early on informed he was a production red.

anybody else have an opinion? I thought I knew, but then when their combs didn't grow with them i guess it just threw me off.

I'm going to say pullet. The comb is just not pink/large enough for me to say roo. At this age it would be more noticeable.

Oh no! Don't do that!!

Post again in 2 weeks. If the comb is not big and red by 10 weeks, it's a pullet.

I hate it when you have that one chick that just makes you keep guessing. I had a chick that i swore was a girl and yesterday it suprised my with a nice big comb and wattle that seemed to grow over night?!? It was strange lol
