Are these Breeds good egg layers?

RIR are great layers but the roos can sometimes be aggressive. If you want a flock that will lay year round you should go the the Ohio native Buckeye chicken. They typically lay year round tend to favor people and will not get frostbite like single high combed varieties. They are really slow to mature but once the do they can be good year round layers for 3-4 years.
