Are these buff silkies all roos?

I personally don't like any of those cockerels. Yes they are probably out of my stock and I'm not afraid to say that I'd be culling them as pets. They still need to fill out a bit to catch up with the parents. 16 & 17 have crappy wings. 15 might have some potential but still alot of black in that tail. The pullet might have some potential for breeding.

Here are some pics of the ones in my flock. They are a work in progress, nothing more. I'm not sure if these were out of my birds or were from the eggs I got from Jaynie. On the ones I saved back from Jaynie, many had that white undertone too.

I am not positive of gender on ANY of the four. The last looks to be better quality than any of the first three. The shape of a comb has no bearing on gender; I have seen smooth combed boys and girls and rough (dented) combed boys and girls. Many breeders breed for very small combs on the males, so size is not always a give away, either, although it should be.

And yes, over the next 2-5 months the appearance could improve dramatically.

At this point I would check for obvious DQs or defects, and note them. Then reflect on them as the birds mature.
