Are These Call Ducks? or What?

Just advertise them for what they are...pet quality...and sell away. (That is if you can part with any of them...LOL)

Do you have any pictures to show size?

You can always sell them as super cute smallish white ducks.
They dont have to BE something... they are what they ARE.

Just let people know that they are pet quality, some people want to get into breeding calls, and they might want to start with breeding quality, but dont know what they are looking for...

I will sell them as pet quality i had already figured they weren't show quality when their bills were longer than the cute calls i see.

I'm a very honest person some will sell you old birds and say they are young i would never be like that.

That is why i was wanting to know if they are indeed calls i would hate to sell eggs or ducklings and they not be what i say they are.
Most people who see them want them i have to keep saying no to the ones who want to buy them.
I just love them and they are so loud one of them will screech then quack real fast.
I know it's a female but everytime i hear it i look at them and they are all standing quietly.
I swear if they could roll their eyes they would kind of like (" boo boo you can't tell who the girl is")

If its a loud high pitched quack then its a Call. They were bred to be loud and high pitched like that. I had no clue there were "Show Quality" or "Pet Quality". The first thing that came to mind when I saw the picture of your ducks was "My god are those beautiful!" They look perfect to me, and I would definitely buy eggs from those birds pictured. I actually like the longer bills on yours. The short billed Call Ducks look like Pigeons to me.

Another thing, Calls are very difficult to hatch. You're lucky that you were able to do it! I initially was going to hatch Calls until I found out how hard they were to ship and hatch.

Either way, you should be so proud of your birds! They are absolutely gorgeous!

Thank You for the compliment and i'm very proud of them.

The one is VERY loud it's a real high pitched screech and then the fast high quacking.
They do it when they hear me coming i just love it some say they are annoying i'm sure if i had alot they would be.
But these 3 it's like a welcome call kind of "like glad to see you" now wheres the food LOL.

I had 12 in the bater and all but 5 turned out to be infertile i hatched the 3 and the other 2 eggs didn't hatch.
But they pipped and zipped just like my chicks with no problem except it took forever for them to hatch.
Something like 2 days i believe it was but i was told that was normal but i was still nervous.

I hope to breed them and either sell eggs or ducklings i bought some silkies to use as brood hens for the eggs.
I was told that was how some hatch their calls so i'm going to give it a try

Yeah, I totally agree with what everyone else has said. No matter what they are, they are GORGEOUS.

I, personally, love the racier, sleeker look of the Mallards than the round, tiny look of the Calls. Not to mention, Calls are known for being loud. It is all relative as to which a person likes or dislikes.

As far as the differences between the two, Calls were simply bred to be slightly different physically and, of course, to have a loud Call. No, the White Mallard is not technically an albino, although sometimes people refer to it as such.

To me, the distinctions between the breeds of domestic ducks are not set in stone. All of them, for the most part, came from Mallards (except Muscovies). Some retain more resemblance to Mallards than others. Most of the current breeds though, with just a handful of exceptions, have been developed in the last 50-100 years by crossbreeding the various breeds. Because of that, to me personally, it wouldn't be terribly important to call them Calls or Mallards.
