Are these Call Ducks?

Then they are baby rouens. or at least rouen cross. mallards have one line and rouens have 2. there not call ducks as calls have very little beaks. can you post a picture of them dried up and fluffy so we can have a better look

well im not an expert but from what ive seen and read aparently thats how it goes but its very weird because stuff like mandarin ducks as babies have two lines and look almost identicle to mallard and rouen babies. its safe to say its not a call at least. i think the only way to be sure is when it grows up. if its a rouen youll see it very soon because they grow really really fast unlike mallard who dont grow as fast. but refering to the original question i dont belive they are calls. there beaks seem to big for calls.

Some of my mallards had two lines or one big thick line. It's all in genetics. But I'm sure Rouens may be more prone to two lines. I don't think it's definite.

How to tell if a duckling is a call duck or not, is by looking at their bill. Call duckings have very small, short bills versus a mallard.

i think soo too. i dont think its exactly a rule but rouens are definatley more common with two lines.
