Hi!
So today was re tagging day we currently have 30+ chicks on the ground as my sons show them and to get a winner you just have to hatch and grow sooo many lucky hubby hasn't asked how many we currently have
Anyways these 3 have me stumped and I need to ask the brains trust are they cockerals?
This is a brand new line of laced red wyandottes the cockeral was brought up from interstate earlier in the year and the hens are a mix of interstate and local lines as they are so hard to source in Aus! Needless to say we have not learnt our line yet for sexing chicks our local line the girls got the shoulder feathers and tail first but the older one was the first one to get a tail and its quite big for nearly 8 weeks even for a cockeral sorry in advance for the bad photos!
There is 20+ others but they are obvious pullets or cockerals so I haven't bothered posting their pictures! If these are boys we have 7 cockerals and 17 pullets not too bad a ratio
