I have never heard of a Goldline Hybrid.
What I see are sex linked hens. Often sold as Golden comets, Red Star, Cinnamon Queen etc. here in the US.

I looked them up and they are a sex linked hybrid that is more common in the UK.
I cannot confirm or deny that they are indeed Goldline Hybrids as I knew nothing of them until this thread. They do look like the pictures I found though so I do not know.

Interesting very interesting.

thankyou for the confirmation. Only one is is laying at the moment, under 14hr of light. The hens have small combs does that make them young can you tell from the picture? as my previous hens the light sussex had large combs at the end of their laying.

They are classic Red Sex Links which are sold under many labels including Gold Lines and Bovans Goldlines. The specific cross in the Gold Lines and Bovans Goldline Red Sex Links is a RIR rooster X a Light Sussex hen. They are egg laying machines so you should get loads of eggs from those ladies.

Agreed.

Thankyou very much for confirming. I picked them up for £25 for the 6. Good little bargin i think, especially as my local hatchery is selling for £15 a bird.
