I mow it once a year. It can be fun when trying to find hidden nests. The large amount of space allows the guineas to be themselves. It has plenty of cover for the picked on ones to hide from their aggressors.
The north fence was a big help when teaching the guineas to be herded into the coop. It runs directly to the coop allowing me to get the guineas between me and the fence to sort of funnel them into the coop.
